Jonas Brother Involved in Photo Scandal

Joe Jonas is at the center of a photo scandal in which he appears to mock Asians -- just one month after fellow teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus was forced to apologize for a similar prank.
The 19-year-old Jonas Brothers star, older brother to Cyrus' ex-boyfriend Nick, appears to pull his eyes with his pinky fingers as he strikes a similar pose to the Hannah Montana star in a picture that has leaked online, reports HuffingtonPost.com (click here to see the photo).

Cyrus, 16, is facing legal action from a group of Asian Pacific Islanders over her own photo controversy after images of the singer and a group of friends pulling the same pose appeared online last month.

She apologized for the photos but it was rejected by civil rights activists and they are now seeking damages for the offense.

A spokesperson for Jonas was not available for comment as WENN went to press.

It sure pays to be a Disney alum at the box office!
Zac Efron 's first post-High School Musical release, 17 Again, took in an estimated $24.1 million in its opening weekend, according to early Variety reports.

Look back at Zac in High School Musical 3: Senior Year!

The New Line do-over comedy features Efron as high school senior Mike O'Donnell, who gives up a promising athletic career to accept the responsibility of teen parenthood when his girlfriend becomes pregnant. Twenty years later, O'Donnell (played as an adult by Matthew Perry ), returns to high school to relive his glory days.

How well do you know these teen stars?

Russell Crowe 's thriller State of Play opened at No. 2 this weekend, grossing an estimated $14.1 million, while Crank: High Voltage earned $6.5 million.

Rounding out the top five films were Paramount's animated Monsters vs. Aliens, Disney's Hannah Montana: The Movie -- which has brokered an impressive $56.1 million after 10 days in theaters -- and the fourth installment in the Fast and Furious film franchise.

Joe Jonas Leaves the Nest

First Kevin Jonas tied the knot, and now we hear his younger brother Joe has moved out of the $1 million abode he once shared with his siblings and into his own LA mansion. In case you haven't noticed, the JoBros are not little boys anymore.

The 20-year-old seems to have made a great choice for his first solo home: a $2.5 million house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and, most importantly, breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills. LA real estate expert Richard Stanley tells In Touch Weekly that "it's truly a unique and beautiful property." The 3,300-square-foot structure was custom built in 1929 to highlight the stunning scenery, he adds.

Inside, the dark hardwood floors and balconies overlooking the living room make the house the perfect place for Joe and his best girl, Demi Lovato, to cuddle up for a date night at home. The dining room, meanwhile, is large enough for the "Jonas" star to host dinner parties for his celebrity neighbors.

But don't worry. Having a multimillion-dollar bachelor pad doesn't appear to be changing Joe's humble outlook. "Living and working in LA is really cool," the cutie tells In Touch. "I know that we are living a lot of people's dreams. I'm blessed and lucky."

Wise words, Joe, wise words. Our heartthrobs really are growing up, aren't they?
