LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Miley Cyrus has responded again to the photo that some have said was racially offensive.
The controversy began when a photo surfaced online last week showing Miley with a group of friends, including boyfriend Justin Gaston , slanting their eyes and squinting at the camera. The teen queen initially called the photo uproar "something out of nothing," and said she was "simply making a goofy face."

On Monday, Miley addressed the controversial photo again, this time saying "sorry."
"I want to thank all of my fans for their support not only this week, but always! I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone," Miley wrote on her MileyWorld blog.
"I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometime my actions can be unintentionally hurtful," the teen star continued. "I know everything is a part of GODs [sic] ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman he aspires me to be. Peace and love, Miles."
